We discuss the complexities of throwing a four-day kink conference & hotel takeover, handcrafting a whipping post, straight jackets, teaching a CBT class, and keeping the fire burning while getting older in the kink community.

Along with the Studio 58 team, JP started in the kink business by building furniture and running a BDSM safe event space in the Mid-Altantic area of Maryland, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. After years of service to the leather community, they decided to close shop, and instead focus on creating larger scale events for the community.
Having a background in medicine as a first responder and paramedic, JP has decades of experience regarding safety and health in kink. This compels JP to look at events from Studio 58 with an eye for safe and consensual play, and education is a major component of their events.
