Ursa Major is a burlesque performer and artist from Asheville, NC whose just portal jumped onto the burlesque scene. She’s a supersonic space vixen which raises the essential question – “Is she an alien”?
Ursa’s a graduate from Deb au Nare’s Burlesque Academy of Asheville and you can currently find her performing at Risqué Monday’s at The Odditorium.
Recently hitting her Saturn Return, she decided it’s time to once again own parts of herself (sexuality and creativity) that haven’t had a chance to shine since childhood. Along with this includes realizing her bisexuality, queerness, and struggles with mental illness.
Ursa’s inspirations vary from spending summer’s at space camp, drag queens such as, BenDeLaCreme, and broadway productions like Mammia Mia. Don’t worry, her nerdiness also includes a love of DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) and MMORPG’s.
