Bio: Ruby lives in Detroit and performs burlesque, modern dance and ballet, and spoken word poetry. She made her burlesque debut in July 2017, and since then has been performing regularly in Detroit and throughout Michigan. In 2018, she became a member of the Detroit Grand Cabaret. She recently performed burlesque at the 2018 Michigan Burlesque Festival and placed 2nd overall at the 2019 Michigan Burlypicks. Ruby studies modern dance and ballet, and her performances draw heavily from their influence. She finds inspiration in the 1920s prohibition era and all things sultry and macabre. When she’s not dancing, she enjoys exploring the city, playing video games, and writing erotic fanfiction and poetry. She has a particular love for the Star Wars character Kylo Ren and is currently working on erotic fiction within the Star Wars universe. Ruby is also an advocate for sex-positivity, inclusive sex education, and sex workers’ rights.
