“The monsters of today will eventually go down in flames.”
Andy Mascola is the host of People Are The Enemy Podcast and an indie author (“Jade Suede,” “The Peeper & The Playwright,” “Zero Percent Juice”). He joins YKF to get lost in kinky music, art, books, and the world of publishing subversive fiction. We talk of the undeniable influence of The Best Show on WFMU with Tom Scharpling, Jon Wurster, astute perversions of Momus, and how Werner Herzog inspires us.
“Dig for the good stuff. You’ll find it.”
Andy Mascola is a novelist, podcast host, and senior writer for the music blog Surviving the Golden Age. Andy’s latest book, Zero Percent Juice, is about a twenty-six-year-old virgin with no charm or charisma, but who is otherwise a decent person, who discovers there’s a man living in his city who looks exactly like him. The difference between the virgin and his doppelgänger, however, is that the lookalike has loads of charm and charisma and is using it to seduce and murder women.
