Bio
Dixie the Spider Queen is new to the Burlesque scene. However, she loves sharing her love of spiders in her acts! Every act has spiders or webs somewhere, even if it is just in the makeup. More importantly, she wants to show plus-size women they can and should do anything they want. They can be and are sexy! Not only does she show this in her burlesque, but she is a professional wrestler on the independent circuit. The Spider Queen is a graduate of Asheville Burlesque Academy taught by Deb un nare. And a regular performer at Risque Monday at The Odditorium in Asheville NC. She wrestles in Boiling Springs Sc at APW when her schedule allows for it. Both in Burlesque and wrestling, she gets to share not only her love of spiders and body positivity but some aspects of being Pagan. As a performer, it is her goal to encourage people to be proud no matter their body type and never be afraid to face their fears and chase a dream!
