Chris Gersbeck is the founder of Dumb Industries, an independent production company based in New York City. You may know him from producing podcasts for comedian Dave Hill. (You know the one that kept on changing it’s name?)  We talk riffing on movies, The Mary Jo Pehl Clubhouse, The Mads Are Back, Glen Or Glenda, The Room, Trevor Moore (R.I.P.), forgotten Comedy Central shows, horror films, The Human Centipede, and I unintentionally make him uncomfortable by trying to explain to him how the crotch rocket works.

Chris Gersbeck is a stand up comedian and producer based in Astoria, Queens. He produces the popular live-riffing show Movies R Dumb, the stand up showcase Casual Sets, and has been a guest on The Goddamn Dave Hill Show on WFMU and John Fugelsang’s Tell Me Everything on SiriusXM. When he’s not on stage, he can be found sitting in a dimly lit bedroom staring at his hands.
